Dragonball Z Kai Returns With Majin Buu Saga
The Z-Warriors return this April in Dragonball Z Kai, the long awaited Majin Buu saga. The April issue of V Jump magazine reveals DBZ Kai will air April 6th at 9:00am Sunday morning in Japan. It’s been reported multiple times last year that English dubs of Kai are being recorded and the series should be released in the west “sometime in 2014″. Let’s hope sooner rather than later. The April issue of V Jump, due to be released in Japan on February 21st, is set to reveal that Dragon Ball Z Kai returns to retell the Majin Buu arc April 6th in Toriko's time slot at 9 on Fuji Tv.
Launched in 2009 in time for the series' 20th anniversary, Dragon Ball Z Kai (or Dragon Ball Kai) is a revised version of the anime series Dragon Ball Z, produced with high definition picture, sound, and special effects as well as a re-recorded voice track by most of the original cast and an edit intended to improve pacing.
It ended its original Japanese run with the conclusion of the Cell Saga in March 2011, though the 98th and final episode was not broadcast due to the TÅhoku earthquake and tsunami.
The magazine also previewed the announcement with its website next issue preview.

The Tao of Dragon Ball spoke to Christopher Sabat (voice of Vegeta, Piccolo, Yamcha and various other roles) about FUNimation dubbing the new episodes.
He's quoted as saying
I’ve seen the article that the DBZ Kai Buu Arc has been announced in Japan and that’s great news. There’s still no word as to whether the dub is happening in the United States or not.
When it was pointed out that this is at odds with a statement from April, 2013, Sean Schemmel, the English voice of Goku for FUNimation an interview:
“I am about to finish the Buu sagafor DBZ Kai.”
